Live arrivals · Chicago trains and buses
Know exactly when to leave.
ArrivalTimes is a WiFi LED sign for your wall or shelf. It shows live train and bus arrivals for the stops you use, and colors every one by whether you can still make it.
Set it up from your phone in a few minutes. No app, no account.
Rail and bus, mixed freely on one board.
Live predictions, refreshed every fifteen seconds.
From the most at a glance to big numbers across the room.
Nothing to install and no account to make. Setup is in your browser.
Color that means something
01The first number you see is the one you can catch.
Tell the board how many minutes it takes you to walk to each stop. Every arrival is then colored by whether you can still make it. Turn on “hide arrivals you can't reach” and the ones you'd miss drop off entirely.
Prefer something calmer? Plain colors mode turns the status colors white. Line colors and detour marks stay.
What it does
02Coverage
Up to 10 stops
Rail and bus, mixed freely. Up to 20 directions with three arrivals each, sorted by what's coming soonest.
Live data
Refreshed every 15 seconds
If fresh data stops for three minutes, the panel says NO CONNECTION instead of showing old numbers as if they were live.
Service alerts
Says why, not just “no arrivals”
Canceled trips drop off on their own. Detours are marked. Quiet stops say DETOUR, BYPASSED or NO SERVICE.
Display
Four layouts
Stacked rows for the most at a glance, big numbers for across the room, or a scrolling ticker with full names. Switch any time.
Setup
Done from your phone
Scan the QR code on the label, pick your WiFi, add your stops. No app and no account.
Home
Brightness and quiet hours
Dim it or switch it off overnight on a schedule. A tap of the button lights it for ten minutes.
Smart home
Home Assistant ready
Shows up automatically over MQTT, with a sensor for every direction. Get detour notifications on your phone through Home Assistant.
Reliability
Looks after itself
Signed automatic updates with rollback, and self-healing when something goes wrong. Built to run for months untouched.
How it works
03Plug it in
Power it over USB-C. The board starts its own setup network, with a QR code on its label.
Join your WiFi
Scan the code and the setup page opens by itself. Pick your home network. Typed the password wrong? Setup reopens on its own.
Add your stops
The panel shows its address. Open it on any phone or computer at home, add your stops and walk times, and they appear within seconds.
Where it works
04Made in Chicago, for Chicago riders.
Chicago
Find stations by name, or pick a bus route, direction and stop from a list.
New transit systems are added on our side, so boards already on walls pick them up without new hardware.
